NSF Fellowship US citizens and permanent residents 8PM EST 29 Oct 2014.  NSF is using a hard deadline on apps.  1 min late and they will not allow you to submit.  Plan to submit 24 hrs before the deadline. Recs are due 6 Nov 3pg statement, 2pg research proposal.  NOTE THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM 2012 and before! 3 minimium.  More allowed.  All applicants should have 4 recs at least; if you have 3 then one person not submitting will cause your app to be returned without review. you can solicit 5 recs and you can rank order them. AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowships (postdoctoral) To be considered for a fellowship via AAAS, an applicant must:

  • Hold a doctoral level degree (PhD, ScD, MD, DVM, etc.), in any of the following:
    • Social and Behavioral Sciences
    • Medical and Health Sciences
    • Biological, Physical or Earth Sciences
    • Computational sciences and Mathematics
    • Engineering disciplines (applicants with a MS in engineering and three or more years of professional experience also qualify).

Note: All requirements for the degree must be completed by the application deadline.

  • Hold U.S. citizenship (dual citizenship from the United States and another country is acceptable).
