Three new faculty to join Sibley School

In case students don’t know this, I am happy to announce that three new faculty will be joining us following searches we ran in the past year.

Dmitry Savransky (https://www-pls.llnl.gov/?url=about_pls-scientific_staff-savransky_d) will join us in July Jan 2014 from Lawrence Livermore National Lab, where he currently works as a post-doctoral associate. His research focuses on space engineering.

Daniel Selva (http://web.mit.edu/dselva/www/) will join us in July 2014 from MIT, where he currently works as a post-doctoral associate. His research focuses on systems engineering.

Dana Weinstein (http://hybrid.mit.edu/) will join us in Jan 2014 from MIT, where she is currently an Associate Professor. Her research focuses on microelectromechanical systems.

Incoming Ph.D. students in particular should be aware of Prof. Weinstein, who has an active lab of course and is looking to take on Ph.D. students during fall term. She will be on campus periodically in the Fall.
